Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is passionate about designing practical, high-quality mechanical solutions for professional drone systems.
What You'll Do
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing mechanical components and assemblies used in our integrated UAV solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Design mechanical components, assemblies, and integrated systems for UAV payloads and sensors used on unmanned systems, including robotic arms, payload stabilizers, steering mechanisms, and custom accessories.
Design mounting hardware, enclosures, brackets, and accessories for drone-mounted sensors and payloads.
Develop mechanical integrations for a variety of UAV platforms.
Create 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
Design components suitable for CNC manufacturing and 3D printing.
Produce clear assembly, installation, and mounting manuals.
Assemble, prototype, and test mechanical systems.
Collaborate with electronics, software, and production engineers throughout product development.
Improve existing products based on testing results and customer feedback.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Product Design, or another relevant engineering discipline. A Master's degree is considered an advantage.
Professional experience in mechanical design or product development.
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Fusion (Fusion 360) or equivalent CAD software.
Excellent understanding of mechanics, physics, and engineering mathematics.
Experience designing parts intended for manufacturing, including 3D printing.
Ability to create production-ready technical documentation.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Good written and spoken English.
During the Selection Process
Candidates will be asked to:
Present a portfolio of real mechanical designs created by them in a CAD system (3D models and drawings).
Provide a university diploma and academic transcript. Academic performance in engineering subjects, mathematics, and physics will be taken into consideration.
Nice to Have
Parametric design experience.
Design for additive manufacturing (DfAM).
Mechatronics design.
Basic electronics knowledge.
Experience with UAV, robotics, industrial equipment, or precision instruments.
Familiarity with rapid prototyping and laboratory testing.
